DESCRIPTION
qmail-qmaint
inspects
s/qmail's
queue and validates its consistancy.
In

can be commanded.
Queue maintanence also allows to remove
particular messages from the queue referencing their
messid
as given by
qmail-qread
(without the leading pound sign '#') by means of
-d messid.
Here, only pre-processed and bounce messages are taken
into consideration.
Giving
-D
advices a bulk removal of remnat pre- or post-processed
DKIM files in the staging area.
qmail-qmaint
must be run either as root or with user id
qmails
and group id
sqmail.
WARNING
It is strongly advised to use
qmail-qmaint
only in case
qmail-send
was shut down before. Queue inspection on a `sane` queue
is however none-destructive.

unlike
qmail-queue
prints diagnostics messages.
It exits

it has successfully inspected the queue
or the message has been deleted.
It may exit
99
in case of a warning, or
100
if an operation can not be completed, or

if a directory can not be accessed.
